Knowingo was founded in 2015 by Loren Roosendaal. The company was born to fill in an evident need for companies worldwide to improve their employees' knowledge gap. Today, Knowingo's focus is to help businesses identify their key talents, save money on training and onboarding processes, and avoid costly mistakes. We do this by providing measurable return on knowledge and making sure the latter sticks in the long-term!

Knowingo 1.0 was released. This was tested by third parties that were closely involved in the development of the software. The idea of a standalone learning product arose and the code, AI, and gamification of learning were created and developed.

The software was developed into a marketable product, and won the company the Accenture Innovation Awards 2017.

Knowingo was listed as one of the top emerging HR tech start-ups by Tracxn, gaining the Minicorn Award.

In 2020 we shifted our focus to serving large enterprises, along with this Adnan Sawadi was promoted to CEO, with our Founder Loren Roosendaal assuming the role of Chairman & CPO.

Our team grew by the minute reaching an all-time high of 25 Knowingoers! Knowingo 3.0 was also released, marking the third and latest version of the product in the past 5 years.
